Dr. Thomas A. Hansbrough, M.D. is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. His training included Louisiana State University Medical School, St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, Eye and Ear Institute of Louisiana, Veterans Administration Hospital and Charity Hospital of Louisiana. He serves on the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. He is married, has two children, and volunteers his time with multiple community health services.
Stanley E. Peters, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Stanley "Bubba" E. Peters, Jr., M.D. is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. His training included Louisiana State University Medical School, St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, Eye and Ear Institute of Louisiana, Veterans Administration Hospital and Charity Hospital of Louisiana. He serves on the Board for the Baton Rouge Cancer Services and is a member of both the State and East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society. Dr. Peters is married and has three sons, three grandsons, and two granddaughters. His oldest son, Geoffrey Peters, M.D., is an otolaryngologist and partner of the practice as well.
Jon G. Traxler, M.D.
Dr. Jon G. Traxler, M.D. is a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology, member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Traxler graduated from Louisiana State University Medical school in 1992 with honors. His specialty training included rotations at Charity Hospital, Veterans Administration Hospital, University Hospital, and Children's Hospital. Dr. Traxler is married, has three children and is an avid fan of LSU Athletics.
Elise Scallan. M.D.
Dr. Elise Scallan is a native of Louisiana and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University Undergraduate School in Baton Rouge in 1993 and from Louisiana State University Medical School with honors in 1997. Her training included rotations at Charity Hospital, Veterans Memorial Hospital, University Hospital, Memorial Baptist Hospital, UMC in Lafayette and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Scallan is married to Orthopedic Surgeon, Jimmy Lalonde, and they have four children.
Geoffrey M. Peters M.D.
Dr. Geoffrey Peters, a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, is the son of Dr. Stanley E. Peters. He is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University and 2007 graduate from the Louisiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency through the LSU Health Sciences Center Otolaryngology in June 2012. He performed clinical research during his residency and received six publications in the medical literature. Dr.Peters is married with two children. Like his father, he is an avid outdoorsman and also enjoys playing the guitar, basketball, football, and tennis.
